Here's an armature from sometime around 2002-2003.
I made this for the Cuppa Coffee Studio/Playhouse Disney stop-mo production Jojo's Circus.
The character was called "Clownfoot", sort of a clown version of Bigfoot.
This thing was huge.
In Terms of scale, it was supposed to be a giant compared to the other characters in the show.
The armature, without a head, was about 20" tall with the other characters being 6"-10" tall.
I remember the finished puppet looking like some weird multi-coloured toddler.
This armature was a wire/ball & socket hybrid made from steel and aluminum.
